| Content | Rotor-Gene Q 5plex HRM
Each tube spins in a chamber of moving air, keeping all samples at precisely the same temperature during rapid thermal cycling. Detection is similarly uniform. When each tube aligns with the detection optics, the sample is illuminated and the fluorescent signal is rapidly collected from a single, short optical pathway. This thermal and optical uniformity results in sensitive, precise, and fast real-time PCR analysis (see figure “Precise real-time PCR analysis”). It also eliminates sample-to-sample variations and edge effects. These are unavoidable in traditional block-based instruments due to temperature gradients across the block and multiple, complex optical pathways. The rotary design delivers well-to-well variation ±0.02°C Uniform detection eliminating the need for ROX reference dye Fast ramping and negligible equilibration times for short run times Complete confidence in your results! The unrivaled optical range enables multiple applications Whether your essay is based on intercalating dyes such as SYBR Green, probes such as hydrolysis (TaqMan), hybridization (FRET), Scorpion probes, or other multiplex chemistries, the Rotor-Gene Q meets your requirements. With up to 6 channels spanning UV to infrared wavelengths, the cycler delivers the widest optical range currently available (see Table “Channels for optical detection”). In addition, the software allows you to create new excitation/detection wavelength combinations, which means that the Rotor-Gene Q is compatible with dyes you may use in the future. The unique centrifugal design of the Rotor-Gene Q 5plex HRM ensures optimal thermal and optical uniformity between samples, which is critical for precise and reliable analysis . This thermal and optical uniformity results in sensitive, precise, and fast real-time PCR analysis. The rotary design delivers up to 20 times better thermal precision in real-time cycling compared with traditional block-based instruments. Have complete confidence in your real-time PCR test by using highly precise rotary technology. Robust optical range enables multiple applications
With a choice of up to 6 excitation sources and 6 detection filters, combined with a short, fixed optical path, the
Rotor-Gene Q MDx 5plex HRM can be used for multiplex reactions (see table), ensuring minimum fluorescence variability between samples and eliminating the need for calibration and compensation. | Blue | 365 ± 20 | 460 ± 20 | Marina Blue, Edans Bothell Blue, Alexa

| Convergent Solea 2.0 Dental Diode Laser
OVERVIEWMakers of the Solea All-Tissue LaserConvergent Dental, Inc. is a privately owned dental equipment and technology company. The Company’s flagship product, Solea, is a breakthrough technology that enables virtually every cavity prep to be performed anesthesia-free, delivering a dental experience that patients prefer. Solea also enables soft tissue procedures that are blood-free and suture-free with minimal post-op discomfort and remarkably rapid healing.Solea offers a completely different experience for both dentists and patients compared to traditional instruments or earlier laser technology. Solea dramatically increases new patient flow, enables better clinical outcomes, makes you more efficient, and allows you to perform procedures previously referred out.TECHNOLOGY Convergent Solea 2.0 Dental Diode LaserUnique 9.3 µm CO2 LaserOur unique 9.3 wavelength is highly absorbed in tooth structure. The result? Solea actually vaporizes enamel (unlike other lasers that slowly chip it away), giving you the power to work anywhere in the oral cavity from any angle with speed and ease. Whether treating virgin teeth, replacing old restorations, or performing soft or osseous tissue procedures, Solea is the right tool for the job.WHY SOLEAPatients prefer fillings without a needle or a drill.Solea is a breakthrough technology that enables virtually every cavity prep to be performed anesthesia-free, delivering a dental experience patients prefer. Solea also enables soft tissue procedures that are blood-free and suture-free with minimal post-op discomfort and remarkably rapid healing. An Experience That Moves Patients
By eliminating the primary causes of patient anxiety (the needle and the drill), Solea delivers a dental experience patients prefer. When needles, numbness, and the sound of the drill, and the pain are all removed from a patient’s dental experience, two important things happen: 1) Patients never settle for a traditional experience again, and 2) They encourage their family and friends to experience the same.Deliver Better Outcomes
Enjoy the highest degree of control over procedures and practice truly minimally invasive dentistry. For hard tissue, Solea allows for selective tissue ablation, which results in the preservation of healthy tooth structure and minimized risk of iatrogenic damage. Solea also provides a bactericidal effect because laser energy kills all bacteria with which it comes in contact. For soft and osseous tissue, Solea enables precise control and is both atraumatic and virtually blood-free, allowing you to deliver better outcomes than you could deliver using traditional instruments.Work Smarter, Not Harder
By eliminating anesthesia, Solea removes obstacles that slow you down and limit what you can accomplish in a single visit. No more calming patients down, injecting the anesthesia, waiting for it to take effect, and scheduling multiple visits for multi-quadrant dentistry. With Solea, you simply greet the patient, get started, and stay until treatment is complete. Enjoy more control over your schedule and feel like you are working less.Expand Your Practice
Solea dentists perform soft and osseous tissue procedures because they are simple, fast, and minimally invasive. By virtually eliminating bleeding, sutures, and post-operative pain, you can add higher revenue procedures – such as gingivectomies, frenectomies, and flapless crown lengthening – previously referred out or ignored. Your patients will love receiving treatment from a dentist they know and trust, and they will be amazed by the remarkably rapid healing process and absence of post-operative pain. | Canon Aplio300 CV Platinum Ultrasound MachineThe Canon Aplio Platinum series share the system architecture; therefore, functions in a manner similar to and are intended for the same use. The systems are overall heavier and larger than newer GE and Philips products; however, the Canon Aplio Platinum series became stable and reliable due to the last 4 to 5 consecutive upgrades since its initial launch in 2012.The Canon Aplio 300 Platinum lowers the price by removing its standard option, but still uses the same system architecture like the Aplio 500 Platinum and the Aplio 400 Platinum, which a user can enjoy a great fundamental image quality of those two higher grade systems. The Canon Aplio 300 is positioned as a high-end grade system, and holds a very good reputation in Radiology with a wide selection of intraoperative transducers, superb fundamental image quality, and outstanding and dedicated premium radiology options such as Smart Fusion, Shear Wave, and Contrast Harmonic Imaging (CHI).The Canon Aplio Platinum series provide a number of clinical tools that provide wider clinical utilities and save scanning time by providing better visualization in a short time. The Superb Micro Vascular Imaging (SMI) is one that increases physician’s clinical productivity and diagnostic efficiency with better visualization of low-velocity blood flow. The MicroPure function is the function that increases comfort and confidence of diagnosis by better visualizing small structures such as a small calcification in breast. The Canon Aplio Platinum series support unique linear (PLT-308P) and convex (PVT-350BTP) transducers that much improve the needle biopsy procedure by offering the method that a needle can be inserted and visualized in the middle of transducer, not from the edge of a transducer. The Canon products in general look like a technology oriented product, rather than a clinical oriented product. With this series, Canon has achieved fully digital beamforming technology, which is fully integrated into the Aplio Platinum series. The weight of each Platinum series is still high, above 320 lbs. The monitor size is 17-inches, but upgradable to 19-inches. Although the Canon Aplio Platinum holds good quality and reputation in Radiology, they still need to be improved in cardiology and OB/GYN’s workflow, automation, and 4D quality, comparing GE or Samsung products to satisfy customers.
