The apoptosis-inducing radiofrequency penetrates deep into the tissue, targeting the adipocytes. The adipocytes are super excited and oscillate rapidly causing frictional heat. The frictional heat raises the adipocyte temperature to 45 degrees at which point the cells denaturise.
